into the power grid earning the owner income from the utility serving the
area. In Central America legislation is in progress regarding this topic
and presently the local power company on Roatan is working out a solution for
buy back methods and prices to be set in the near future.
At the present pricing of electricity generated by RECO one can expect a faster payback for initial investment and also enjoy uninterrupted electric supply due to RECO outages or storm induced outages. Looking at the invest from this vantage point it just makes plain sense to install independent electricity generation.
