The Guest House or "Casa Turtlegrass Poqueño"

Chapter 4

This is the guesthouse that I am presently in until December when Lori and I are on the boat and building the big house on top of the foundation.

This is looking from the end of the original dock.

That pile of lumber is starting to look like something.

I am setting this up to have solar and wind generation.  I also have a reverse osmosis machine to make water when there is no rain for long periods. We might opt for using the water we make most often, as it is good for drinking and washing. The storage batteries for the solar panel array can be seen. These are large 500-amp hour, 20-year storage batteries.

Here is the temporary "bedroom".

And the kitchen.

And my favorite place, the hammock on the porch. And yes that is our motorcycle, it is still in the same spot today and will be until we get the shed done on the oak ridge property and that will be after the house is done and.....

... this hasn't changed much either except that there is more containers and all kinds of things stuffed in this little guest house. I emptied out my shipping container into the guest house and sold it. Lori says that when I get the house done and we can move things around a bit, hint, hint..... maybe there might be more room in here!
